Intake Restraints

NHRA will require Intake Restraints for 2015 in the Pro Mod Class on engines which are nitrous assisted and have a bolt on intake manifold top.  There are 3 accepted processes for restraining the tops of the plenum.

1 - (2) restraints are required when attaching from the (i.e. manifold bolt) and going directly to a (i.e. carburetor stud)

2 - (1) restraint is required when attaching from a carburetor stud, wrapping around the manifold plenum and top, then back to another carburetor stud.

3 - (1) restraint is required when attaching from a manifold bolt, wrapping around the manifold plenum and top, then back to another manifold bolt.
